Keep your copy of the Career Assessment, Part I to use later in the week to prepare for the Certification Presentation on Thursday, and your copy of the Project Planning pre-work. Give a copy of your bio to each cohort member.

Prepare a 2-minute presentation that you will give in the cohort session on some new service or process you would like to see in your organization. Use your pre-work Project Planning sheets as a source for information. Include some information that would appeal to each of the four quadrants

Each candidate will make a five-minute presentation to a panel to describe their medical management skills and accomplishments and to demonstrate their effective presentation skills. The presentation will be video recorded.

 

After the presentation, panel members will ask questions concerning the presentation and will ask questions to test the candidates knowledge of medical management education resources and mentoring techniques.

 

The Assessment Panel will make recommandations (pass or defer) to the CCMM Credentials Committee based on:

  • the ability of the candidate to communicate skills and accomplishments
  • how those skills were used effectively in his/her career
  • the ability to make an effective presentation
  • the ability of the candidate to respond to questions concerning career management, mentoring
  • the candidates knowledge of medical management education resources
